Melanie grew up in the german countryside of Bavaria. Having a background in Musical/ Dance, she got first introduced to yoga in 2006 when she worked in Paris. She continued and deepened her yoga journey when she moved to NYC. After completing three teacher trainings, including an anatomy training for teachers, she discovered her love for teaching yoga.
Melanie developed an awareness-oriented approach to her teaching that aims at heightening the connection of body and soul. She encourages her students to embrace the individuality of their bodies and to find their own unique and safe expression in each pose - inside and out.
